Which niche is best for my new blog? — Howie Schwartz’s Suggestions

Riches in Niches: How to Make It Big in a Small MarketYou might be surprised to see this new post inserted in the middle of talking content management system. But after I finish reading Howie Schwartz's ebook '15 niches' I am tempted to insert it immediately rather than wait for another week till I'll be finishing content management system.

I received an email from Schwartz today i.e. Friday 8 Jan 2010. He had sent an ebook titled '15 niches'. Though I read the email in early morning, I had not opened the ebook. I was bit skeptical about the ebook (telling the truth), since we receive lots of emails and ebooks that contain nothing more than sheer advertisement. This evening only, I thought when Schwartz has sent it, its worth opening.

The ebook does not look different that the advertisement pdf at a first glance. Flashy contrasting colors, large texts somewhere bold, underlined and with different colors so that they could drag your eyes and so on. I just scrolled and tried to skim through. Immediately after few titles on ebook, I started realizing, it is something valuable.

Cutting long story short the ebook talks about 15 niches that are most potential for any blogger wishing to exploit them and set up a good market for him/her. The niche he talks about are:

1. Organic Gardening
2. Child Development
3. Making perfume
4. Writing a novel
5. Wood working
6. Skiing
7. Dog Care
8. Tuna Fishing
9. Deer Hunting
10. Cartooning
11. Antiques Collecting
12. Cooking
13. Portrait Photograph
14. Business Management
15. Publish a book

The great thing about the ebook is not the magic list of keywords. But the work he as put into the research on each of these keywords. He as not just listed the keywords and flattered with flashy sentences. He has displayed how he researched and analyzed each keywords. It is interesting to see how a niche market is researched and this will be very useful to anybody willing to do some online business. He has taught how to find the nearer sub keywords with Google related search, Google keyword tool, Google Wonder Wheel, Google Shopping search, Alexa, Compete, and Quantcast, to check on the top result sites to get an idea of the earning potentials of a niche; using Google blog search for to learn the psychology of the market; using Google Product for great product ideas; analyzing ClickBank for information about which products are popular in the market and so on.

It would be good if you go through the ebook yourself. It can be downloaded from here till Howie removes it.
