What Goes Around Comes Around
I am still in the course of switching my site PS Exam from Joomla platform to WordPress. After using Joomla for over these two years, finally I decided to switch to WordPress. Still I’m finding it hard to import all of my posts and comments. I don’t know if its better to completely switch or gradually build up mirror site and then switch. I’m sure, this is going to give me a lot of pain and heavy loss of search engine traffic immediately after I switch. Because the site remained online for two years has collected lots of back-links and Google PR 4. A slight modification can be devastating. But I hope this will be beneficial in long run.
Well, I’m not to talk about switching today. My current topic in hand is ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’.
I was reading Ralph Jean-Paul’s The Persuasion Experiment: 5 Effective Persuasion Techniques Tested. Very persuasively convinces all of his five techniques. What strike me most is his “Reciprocal Persuasions”.
A friend and I went to a Chinese Bistro. I was wary about going to this particular restaurant because the last time I was there the waiter took a very long time to bring the check after we had finished eating………During the meal, I thought of ways to make the server’s job as easy as possible. We had our orders ready and that avoided him having to come back and forth. When we were done with the appetizer plates, I neatly stacked them and placed all of the silverware and napkins on top. I did the same thing with the main course plates……… The waiter came by and asked if we were ready for the checks. Instead of just replying ‘yes’, I struck up a conversation with him. By the time my friend returned from the restroom, the waiter had already told me about ……..his past girlfriend and current girlfriend. When I finally asked him to bring the check, it took less than five minutes for him to return. He not only seemed eager to come back to the table and wrap-up the conversation, he told us his working schedule and would try to get us a good table if we came back when he was working.
This reminded me of those Ad Campaign I saw on 8 Creative Social Awareness Campaigns : Which one of these pulled you?. The author was illustrating an Anti-war against Iraq Campaign. The poster of a soldier with gun and fighter plane launching missiles were portrayed. Have a look at them:
A soldier:

Got the idea?
I’m not referring to the great posts I’m gone through recently. My purpose is to make you ponder. I hope you think the same way as I do.
Do you write lot of comments in other blogger’s posts? Genuine and discussing comments?
Do you tweet the posts? Are you actively digging the contents you read?
Are you clicking on vote buttons for the posts you liked?
Do you come front to help others for their silly and trivial troubles – it might have been eating their head for long.
If yes, I’m sure it is coming around what went around. This is true. What goes around comes around.
