## I have a question from excel, how to calculate wages ? i can't solve it myself. plz give me solution. (6 replies and 4 comments)

Sir, How many days is there in one month?

Is this data of a single month or more than a month?

A bit confusing question.

Does the absent days include holidays or not

There is always 30 days in one month for calculation this types of question. In this data included single month, & by mistake i prss 34 for the place of 24 in forth record. condition is clear,absent days are not include holidays and 4 days holiday is given per month. if worker works on holidays he/she gets 50% extra wages and 50% wages is deducted if worker leave or absent per day (in one month). Thus 26 day is compulsory to get full wages, if worker present 27 days he/she gets 1 day extra wages and if worker present 22 day 4 days is absent and 50% wages is deducted of this days.

Then the wages amount can be calculated as:

Please suggest me the formula to calculate this sir.

=IF(C2=26,(C2-26)*(150%*450)+(26*450)+(50%*D2*450)))

I think the above procedure or the formula is incorrect! Though I have not done with formula, I've calculated all the required credentials separately, being based upon the total working days of 26 for a month, 4 days for default rest holidays. The absenteeism of employee is based upon the 26 days. Other default 4 days' rest holidays are not counted as absenteeism, but absenteeism is calculated on working days. I guess so. Nevertheless, employee might have worked in those rest holidays as well.

Conditions:Rs.450 is given for working days and 4 days holiday is announced per month. 50% amount is deducted for absent days except holidays and 50% extra wages is given for working on holidays.
