The suc­cess and fail­ure in an exam is not the result of prepa­ra­tion classes nor how much you make effort dur­ing exams. In fact a can­di­date needs to groom him up grad­u­ally every time. Com­puter Oper­a­tor Exams are not of the type where you scored pass marks and got suc­ceeded. Since it is com­pet­i­tive exam, you need to prove your­self the best among all the can­di­dates par­tic­i­pat­ing in that exam.

In out case in Kath­mandu, we don’t have insti­tutes that train for Com­puter Oper­a­tor posts con­ducted by Pub­lic Ser­vice Com­mis­sion except those prepa­ra­tion classes just when the exam sched­ules are pub­lished. These prepa­ra­tion classes are not prov­ing any­thing more than a hur­ried waste of money. One month drill will hardly be enough for any­body. Thus con­tin­ual train­ing is a must.

It was bit late when I made a con­tact to IT Park Inc who used to run prepa­ra­tion classes. Its known to very few stu­dents that IT Park runs train­ing classes too. It was already one month class over where Fun­da­men­tals and MS DOS are already cov­ered. The train­ing class will con­tinue for the next six months.

The chap­ter MS Win­dows has been started since yes­ter­day. Icon, Desk­top, Mouse and Mouse Actions, Con­text Menu, Dif­fer­ent Short­cut Menus on Desk­top, Taskbar and Start Menu were cov­ered in today’s class.

I don’t know how far it will be pos­si­ble, but I’ll try to fol­low the classes and present here the top­ics cov­ered as in the train­ing classes. I Hope, those who can’t attend the train­ing classes will get some­thing use­ful from the com­ing posts to pre­pare com­puter oper­a­tor exams!
