Path (1 reply)
Which is used to set a path....
a. path.sys b. config.sys c. io.sys d. Autoexec.bat
Is it b or d? And will you please, give a brief idea about what each of this files do in Dos or OS?
I don't remember if there is any file named path.sys 😀
Config.sys stores the device configuration.
io.sys contains instructions so as to make DOS able to recognize and use input/output devices.
Autoexec.bat file is the program file (batch file) of DOS which contains commands that needs to run every time when you start computer.
You can write path command inside autoexec.bat file and set path for every time you run computer.
