Interview sessions for Computers of PSC is relatively relaxed. Those who succeeded in Written examination, the competition is very tough as there is very little difference between the marks scored. However, the marks of Practical examination makes huge difference. It is the practical session that's more important to determine. After the practical session, interview has, in fact, very little influence to change the result or order.
If you ask what type of questions will be asked, I will be writing about it very soon. For now, there is a panel of 5 or 6 people from different fields. There will be one subject expert who'll asks questions about Computer Science. Others will focus on your personal and career matter. The questions will be like
- Introduce yourself
- You know the salary is very less. And for computer personals the pay is higher in outside. Will you be able to serve in this salary? Why would you join civil service for such low salary?
- As a civil servant you need to go anywhere in the country to work. What would you do if you are posted to some remote offices?
- bla bla bla
The subject expert will ask questions more related to networking, ip addressing, new technologies, online services and so on...
