Digg RSS in My Yahoo


No blogger can ignore Digg. It can be the flood of traffic to your blog if Digg fortune falls upon you. You know very well the meaning of TRAFFIC- the free traffic. Some bloggers are even scared of the flood – Is your hosting capable to bear the flood?

This post is about how to stay well informed about your Friend’s Activity so that you can stay active digger!

You might say Log on to Digg and Click “Friend’s Activity”, yes it is true. But what about the following methods?

Add Friend’s Activities in My Yahoo

If you are regularly using My Yahoo to manage your online life, why not to add Friend’s Activity in My Yahoo home page? Once you add it, you can always stay informed and be active digger! Following is the method.

Log on to digg. (How? please don’t ask!)

Click on Friend’s Activity Link

Right click the RSS icon and copy the RSS URL.

Now open ‘My Yahoo’ (http://my.yahoo.com) and login.

Find the link ‘Add Content’ at the top bar and click it to open content Panel.

At the bottom of panel, you find ‘Add RSS Feed’ link. Click it.

Paste the RSS of Digg and Click Add

Click I’m Done

Now you can see ‘Friend’s Activities in My Yahoo Front Page.

You can change how RSS looks by changing Settings

      Thank you Joella. In fact I’m looking for some tools that helps to use digg more effectively. It might be due to the complex algorithm of Digg, its very hard to find any tools at all. Though this is not an application, at least it helps you to stay informed immediately when friends digg or submit any posts.
