Apply Comment Luv for Blogger Blogs
There are very few resources available for any Blogspott blogger to apply Comment Luv plugin in his blog. I realized this when I was searching vigorously for my blog itself. I Googled a lot, found some blog posts, but all of them failed. Thanks to Andy Bailey (the creator) whom I found on twitter and he helped me set up by blogger account to enable. Thus I sat for giving a brief information about how to use comment luv for blogger blog.
Comment Luv is a popular plug-in for comments among WordPress blogs, now supports blogger blogs too! This lets your visitors to leave comments on posts with not only a back-link to their site but select their post too. Thus this will be a great incentive to commenters, inviting more comment.
How to implement comment luv in your blogger blog?
It is very simple and the best thing is that the process is mostly automated. All you have to do is switch your commenting system to Intense Debate – this is the only comment platform supporting comment luv. If you face any problem switching your comment system to Intense Debate you can always push your queries to IntenseDebate in Twitter. After you switch you can activate CommentLuv from the Intense Debate dashboard itself.
When you know the right method, its so simple working it out. I fought for 2 days to implement when I had to search everything from scratch.
Happy Luving!

other than changing you commenting system to something else is there any way to do this?
will google be able to read/index the comments about your posts or do you loose that by switching to a javascript based commenting system

Yes, I have heard against the JavaScript served commenting systems as they won’t get caught by Google. But till now it is only IntenseDebate for blogger blogs that can use commentLuv. This is the very reason I switch my blog from blogger.com to WordPress with a heavy loss of previous comments dropped for these posts.
BTW, Are you disallowing comments in your blog? I did not find way to drop what I thought on your post.

I’m sure he will be doing it very soon, but one issue I found something disturbing. I intended to install commentLuv on my blog with a hope to reward commenters with whatever link juice it can flow through. CommentLuv plugin for java based commenting system like IntenseDebate and Disqus is something not matching. Google and other search engines can’t see under that Java and what’s the use of link love that can’t flow through? If search engines are unable to read them, what’s the use of commentLuv on those systems?
This is what drove me to switch to WordPress from Blogger since there was no satisfying solution for this. Now, its OK. Any genuine commenter is rightly identiied and nofollow tag is removed to reward them with link love.

You will have to wait a bit more. Please follow Andy Bailey to get updated. Till now its only IntenseDebate that you can use for blogger blogs.
But why would you be interested to use CommentLuv if you are using Disqus? Because you can’t share the link juice with your commenters, why would you bother to install the plugins that are meant to share link love?

We should thank you for giving such a wonderful blog. Your site
happens to be not only informative but also very imaginative too. We
find a limited number of experts who can think to write technical
articles that creatively. All of us are on the lookout for information
on something like this. I Myself have gone through several blogs to
build up on knowledge about this.We look forward to the next posts !!

If that's you then make visually memorable notes: use colour, diagrams and mind maps, for example. You might even consider putting up posters of key information around your home.

I was researching on how commentluv would work on blogger. I'll try this out but I've always been gearing towards wordpress blogs due to the number of useful plugins, one of which is commentluv. I guess now I could create a blogger blog and try this out. Thanks for the share!

I have found commentluv very helpful too. It gets people to my blog and they actually leave legitimate comments. I delete all lame and spammy comments.
I don't think commentluv works on blogger. it would be awesome if it did work.
Are you using any WordPress backup solutions? I have been backing up all my data bases with all the fear going on about WordPress being hacked.

I can honestly say I’d never heard of commentluv before now. This seems like an excellent tool to use, and something I’ve been looking for without knowing it.

I’m a fan of IntenseDebate and immediately installed the comment form on my Blogger blog when I first heard about Comment Luv.
Just a quick Q… Can you teach me how to keep the commenter’s website do-follow and any links in the comment no-follow (just like what you’ve done in your blog)?
Any info pointing to any HTML code or plug-in will be great.
